new movie uploads often only in 720p

Why are so many new uploads only in 720p?

The file size is nice, but the picture quality isn't.

I would prefer 1080p for new posts.


also: old movies are often originally in a 4:3 ratio

could you try to respect that? (if it's not a wide-screen movie)

I don't like it, if parts of the picture are cut off.

We are currently uploading some of the old movies in 720p first. but we will add 1080p to all of them later on. so if you need 1080p for any of these titles, just re-check it here within few weeks.

Also, we don't alter the screen ratio of any of the movies being uploaded. They are getting ripped from either bluray sources or streaming services.
